Abstract
Renormalization group theory is applied to stratified turbulence. Various results due to nonlinearities, buoyancy and reference
temperature gradient
S0 are reported for cases where
|S0| is uniform and sufficiently large. The main result is that the imposition of strong stratification leads to a new renormalization
group fixed point and a (
-3) law for the energy spectrum.
